Don W. Danz
Mr. Danz is a partner at Coffey, Senger & McDaniel, P.L.L.C. Mr. Danz has more than 27 years of litigation experience in state and federal courts and has represented clients throughout Oklahoma and surrounding states. Mr. Danz’s legal experience includes practicing in private law firms in Oklahoma City and Tulsa and as in-house counsel for an Oklahoma based insurance company.
Mr. Danz is currently admitted to practice in Oklahoma and the Cherokee, Choctaw, and Muskogee (Creek) Nation Tribal Courts as well as the Tenth Circuit, U.S. Supreme Court, and U.S. Tax Court. He was previously admitted to practice in Kansas, Missouri, and Minnesota. Don is an experienced litigator in insurance defense work including coverage and bad faith issues as well as transactional and tax related matters. His current concentration is in legal research, motion brief writing and appellate practice.
Mr. Danz was born in Bangkok, Thailand. He attended the University of Illinois obtaining his undergraduate degree in Philosophy in 1989 with a minor in Math/Physics. He received his law degree in 1992 from the University of Tulsa College of Law and then obtained a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Don is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and Tulsa County Bar Association. As a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Don is a Past Chairperson of the Tax Section and the Founding Editor of the Section’s Tax Journal.
Don and his wife Mary reside in Tulsa where they are raising their three boys who are active in the Boy Scouts, sports and academic competitions.
